GIS Day Celebration

     Every year, there is a day for celebration for GIS. Although this class is in the spring, the usual date of the celebration is November 18th. However, this wont stop us from having a small celebration of it at this time of the year.      So for my GIS day event I decided to create and have a small informal discussion with my coworker on GIS, especially concerning the program he used to map out everyone's inspections in 2025. It took place in his office for a bit and it was a good discussion.       So a part of the discussion used a GIS website made by the state called Map Direct. This site contains a lot of information depending on the discipline that you work with, for example having all the location data for Construction Generic Permits or Multi Sector Generic Permits for Stormwater.
